2019: a year in flowers
2019, a year in flowers. Some of my favorite arrangements, bouquets, weddings and shoots of the last year. Dive in and let me know what’s your fave!
February 2019: A little anthurium installation in our bathroom, with shoot leftovers.
March 2019: An Australian roadside inspired wedding, with lots of Dutch Spring blooms to incorporate the Dutch roots of this Melbourne-based couple. (photos by Lott’s, see more of this wedding here)
I can’t talk about Australia today without talking about the horrible fires. Please donate what you can to Wires, a Wild Life Fund that rescues animals (or a charity of your choice) THANK YOU!
April 2019: Working with crazy talented Nikki on her ‘Diverse Universe’ project was a dream! I did the flower and set styling for this photoshoot. Read more about it here. (photos by Satellite June)
May 2019: Internet went a little crazy in May over my purple flower cloud. The first of many installations in the studio! See more photos here.
June 2019: A botanical wedding at my fave venue: Restaurant de Kas. The moment sweet Jiyoung&Max entered the dining area was the highlight for me, so much love! See more of this wedding here. (photos by Mon et Mine)
July 2019: A month filled with weddings and colorful Summer flowers!
August 2019: A new flower cloud, made with foraged Queen Annes lace and tansy, shooting lots of flowers for Libelle (yet to be published!) and of course: that unforgettable trip to Tuscany. Read more about the Ponderosa&Thyme Clarity Retreat here.

September 2019: The first workshop in my studio! I had such fun teaching these ladies how to create their own flower crown. And I had some leftovers to play with myself, so I made a rainbow hoop.
Picking end of Summer flowers in a cutting garden, just for me, was a treat! So was creating another Dutch Masters inspired arrangement :)
October 2019: The most beautiful Autumn weddings, all the dried flowers and foliage and another workshop! An Autumn wreath edition this time. A month filled with my favorite colors :)

November 2019: More shooting for Libelle, our first Nature Walk&Wreath class (join us for the February edition, tickets here!), a wedding with the finest Toffee roses and another seasonal foam-free installation in the studio.
December 2019: I ended a very busy Autumn with a Christmas wedding (enter twinkle lights and greenery!), a Christmas wreath workshop, my very first Instagram live session and a very last minute job on Dec 24: making 2 dried flower crowns for dear colleague Aline Bouma. (photo 1-3 by Aline Bouma)
Besides all the jobs and events I spend almost every free minute on&in the studio. Painting, building cabinets, installing the countertop, organizing, sweeping, washing buckets and vases.. it’s my pride and glory of 2019 and I look forward to spending more time in here this year!
2020 will bring more weddings and workshops, but I would love to work on more installations too! For events, photoshoots, store windows.. you name it! So if you are looking for some floral magic, let me know :) (hit the contact button below and we’ll talk soon!)
